LUNA Proudly Supports International School of Indiana 2022 International Gala

LUNA proudly supported the International School of Indiana (ISI)’s 2022 International Gala by donating the time and talent of our team members to support the success and accessibility of this important event.

ISI offers students a dynamic framework to understand diverse global cultures and perspectives. It is the state’s only school that offers all enrolled students access to certified full-continuum International Baccalaureate (IB) programming and full language immersion for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5 students. The school also plays a vital role in Indiana’s increasingly global business community by supporting the recruitment of top international professional talent and promoting the value of internationalism.

The LUNA team donated American Sign Language services and Chris Waters, LUNA CEO & Founder and ISI parent himself, contributed his stage presence and public speaking skills by emceeing the evening, even acting as the Gala’s live auctioneer. “Chris was an absolute hit and one of the highlights of the night. He will definitely have a job at the Gala for as long as he wants it!” said Kim Jacobson, ISI’s Director of Development.

Proceeds from the event are directed to the ISI Annual Fund, supporting day-to-day operations and allowing ISI to direct funds where needed most or immediate impact. “The money raised from this event is used where it is needed most, ensuring ISI remains agile and responsive,” Jacobson said.

More than 350 guests representing families and friends of the school were welcomed to preview the debut of the Chen Family Lower School and celebrate the successful completion of the ONE ISI campaign. The Gala raised $250,000 making it one of the most successful events in recent times.

“One of the most impactful projects that money raised from the Gala supports is ISI’s financial aid program. We believe that investment in the future of a child is an investment in our community. Our $2 million financial aid program helps us to achieve this,” Jacobson added.
