National Origin Discrimination in the Workplace – Building Inclusive Culture

National Origin Discrimination in the Workplace – Building Inclusive Culture

Join us on Thursday, April 29th at 12 p.m. (ET) for National Origin Discrimination in the Workplace—Building Inclusive Culture.

In 2019, there were 28.4 million foreign-born people in the U.S. labor force, comprising 17.4 percent of our total national workforce [U.S. Bureau of Labor statistics]. Here in Indiana, we have welcomed refugees from more than 160 countries and have over 100 languages used among our residents.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and LUNA Language Services have come together to help Diversity and Inclusion professionals, and Human Resources professionals understand how national origin discrimination manifests in the workplace, and to offer some real-life suggestions to create a more inclusive workplace culture for people of diverse national origins.
