Job Description:

The LUNA Language Services’ Marketing Communications Specialist works closely with our marketing and sales teams to develop and execute ongoing marketing communication strategies. This person is also tasked with embracing and advancing our company culture, image, and brand, as well as providing ongoing communications-related support to our marketing and sales teams as necessary. Through full implementation and management, the Marketing Communications Specialist is able to direct a wide range of projects and campaigns, including website content, blog articles, social media, photo, and video posts, email marketing campaigns/automations, client success stories, white papers, proposals, Request For Proposal (RFP) responses, and various marketing and sales presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams on the development of integrated marketing communication programs and strategies that support team and company goals
  • Participate in content strategy development and execution across all marketing channels to increase brand awareness, engagement, client acquisition, and client retention
  • Plan, organize, manage, and control various marketing communication-related projects and campaigns
  • Understand, embrace, and advance the LUNA company culture, image, brand, and promotional items (swag)
  • Create marketing communication materials such as website content, blog articles, social media, photo, and video posts, email marketing campaigns/automations, client success stories, white papers, proposals, Request For Proposal (RFP) responses, and various marketing and sales presentations
  • Manage and maintain the company’s marketing and communication platforms
  • Prepare, format, and edit a range of documents
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external resources to execute projects
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field required
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience
  • Exemplary organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Proven experience with marketing communications-related projects and campaigns
  • Demonstrated competency with various technologies, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, WordPress, social media, email marketing automation, videography, and photography
  • Capacity to maintain a high degree of accuracy and pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Adobe Creative Suite, search engine optimization (SEO), website translation, graphics, and/or language-related experience is a plus

Reports To:

  • LUNA’s Vice President of Business Development

  • Salary range – $40,000 to $50,000 + commission
