IT Support Specialist

LUNA Language Services, a mid-size interpreting and translating agency based in Indianapolis,
Indiana, is seeking a master multi-tasker with technology-related skills and an upbeat attitude.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide Tier 1 technical support to our
internal staff and clients. This person will also assist our external IT team with maintaining
equipment inventory records and help with data management projects.


  • Assist internal LUNA team members, as well as LUNA clients, by solving basic software
    issues and escalating un-resolvable transactions to the next level
  • Provide in-person and remote user software and desktop support and customer service
    including but not limited to:
    • Support ticket processing
    • Password reset/troubleshooting
    • New user setup & training
    • Client portal setup & training
    • Zendesk macro creation
    • User record management
    • Client record management
    • Reporting
    • Simple data migrations
    • IT issue triage
  • Provide helpdesk and admin support on the following technology platforms (training will
    be provided):
    • Zendesk (Sell, Support, Talk, Guide, & Explore)
    • Atrium
    • Plunet
    • Propio
    • Boostlingo
    • Quickbooks Online
  • Provide staff training on support applications and technologies
  • Recommend enhancements or efficiencies for supported systems
  • Maintain inventory records & check-in/check-out processes for on-site equipment, such
    as headsets, computer peripherals, spare laptops, and battery backups
  • Assist with workstation setup for in-office staff
  • Liaise with software vendors to manage the resolution of bugs and other issues

Required Skills:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred but not required
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well in a diverse environment with many different ages and ability levels
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Love for continuous learning, problem-solving, and helping others

Reports to: Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Business Development

Total Rewards Package:
